Thinking coal harbour area, sub 300/night (this town is expensive!) . Never been there, wanting a fun neighborhood with some personality. Whatever that means

I always stay at the Lonsdale Quay. Great hotel on the water, with the sea bus right downstairs. The perfect home base when exploring van.
